Good morning, dear friends. As the soft light of dawn gently breaks across the sky this October morning, I’m grateful to pause with you and reflect on a beautiful promise from Scripture. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “Fear not, I am with you...” These words, spoken by God Himself, offer a steady anchor for whatever this day may bring. Many of us wake with quiet worries pressing on our hearts. Perhaps you’re thinking about work deadlines or financial pressures that seem to grow heavier each week. Maybe family health concerns or the well-being of loved ones far away keep you up at night. In a world filled with rapid changes, political tensions, and everyday uncertainties, it’s natural to feel a little unsteady as we step into the hours ahead. Yet God meets us exactly where we are. He does not ask us to pretend the challenges aren’t real. Instead, He simply says, “Fear not, I am with you.” That presence changes everything. It means we don’t face the commute, the difficult conversation, the doctor’s report, or the news headlines alone. His companionship is personal, steady, and available right now. Think for a moment about the small moments that make up today: the first cup of coffee, the walk to the car, the emails waiting in your inbox. In each of those ordinary places, the same God who spoke to Isaiah walks beside you. When anxiety rises, we can quietly return to His promise and let it settle our breathing and our thoughts. This hope also moves us outward. As we feel God’s nearness, we become better able to notice others who are carrying burdens. A text of encouragement, a patient word, or simply listening can become ways we share the comfort we’ve received. In a time when so many feel isolated, these small acts of presence reflect the greater Presence that never leaves us. So let’s carry Isaiah’s words with us through the morning and into the afternoon. Whatever rises up today, remember you are held by the One who promises to be with you. There is strength, peace, and hope in that truth. #FearNot220 #071of220 #Catholic
