Fear Not 220

In our own lives right now, we each face modern-day “Assyrians.” Maybe it’s the uncertainty of rising living costs that keeps you checking the news with a knot in your stomach. Perhaps it’s the tension in global events, conflicts that feel distant yet ripple into our communities and families. Or it could be more personal: a health concern that lingers in the back of your mind, worries about loved ones, or the quiet pressure of finding stability in a fast-changing world. These threats loom large, just as the Assyrian forces did centuries ago, making us question our security and peace. But the beauty of this verse lies in its gentle invitation to shift our gaze.
